Unfortunately we did not win the Club of the year award last Friday evening in Donegal. Congatulations to the winners, Middleton F.C. from Cork. All 8 clubs put on a fantastic display showcasing what each club has to offer and what they hope to achieve. While their could only be one winner all clubs seemed to be united in one goal i.e to promote the game at grass roots to the best of their ability and any one of them could have won on the day. Well done to the team that travelled to the venue they really did us proud and put up a brilliant display of memorabilia from the club, details of our future plans and the way we are integrated in the local commuinity. New bonds of friendship were foged with other clubs and we hope that in the future many of our teams will extend that further as we look to travel and indeed host these teams in friendlies. We wish to thank the Sponsors and the F.A.I. , our parent body , and especially Aisling Delaney, for all the co-operation, help , support and pointers that they gave us during this competition and for the chance to partake in such a prodigious competition, during which we rediscovered and relived many great sporting moments and events that occurred during our Clubs years of existance, we also remembered the great people, past and present that, helped mould and shape this Club into the great one that it is today. Thanks to all of them and to the supporters and players who are the life blood of this Club .
